Qualifications
Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and medical skills required. Must be certified or willing to pursue BAT certification. Basic computer skills and working knowledge of medical-related equipment are required. Duties include all others assigned by Vice President of Operations.

Degree Required
Educational/Experience Requirement: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the medical field with strong emphasis on patient care. Certification or degree from vocational/technical institutions and basic computer skills are required.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities: Provide all aspects of patient care including triage, vaccination, injections, comprehensive physicals, phlebotomy, drug screens, etc. Assist physician and nurse practitioner in the treatment and care of W/C injuries. Discharge patients and complete paperwork accurately and expeditiously. Dispense medications. Apply/remove bandages and splints. Instruct patients on the use of supplies and medications. Maintain inventory of medications, medical supplies and equipment. Calibrate equipment.

Essential Functions: Provide assistance to physicians and ARNP's in the treatment of patients including minor surgery. Dispense and administer medications. Perform comprehensive physical testing using proper protocols. Provide training and leadership to other MA's. Provide coverage at Nurses Station. Perform pulmonary function, EKG, audiometry. Process charts for completeness and accuracy.

Additional Comments: Travel to other Lakeside locations will be required on an as-needed basis.
